The Problem

Most sellers are guessing their actual profit.

If you can't answer "what do I actually make on each unit?" in 10 seconds, you can't price strategically.

๐Ÿงฎ

Platform fees never match across channels

Shopify charges transaction fee for every order. Amazon takes 15% referral + FBA. Faire keeps 25% wholesale. Each one calculates fees differently. Doing the math by hand for every SKU on every platform is impossible at scale.

๐Ÿงฉ

Your margin math and your pricing decisions live in different places

COGS is in your supplier sheet. Platform fees sit in marketplace dashboards. Shipping rates change in your carrier portal. When you finally sit down to set a price, none of that math is in front of you, so you guess at margin while you guess at the price. Mistakes compound silently.

๐Ÿ’ธ

You don't know which product is bleeding you

Without per-product, per-platform margins surfaced inline, you assume your bestsellers are also your most profitable. They're often not. Loss leaders hide in plain sight.

Summary & Detailed Views

Two views: see the headline number or the line-by-line breakdown.

The Summary view groups your expenses into customizable buckets (item cost, fulfillment, platform fees, custom groups) so you can see profit margin at a glance per product per platform. The Detailed view shows every single cost line item, perfect for scenario modeling or audit-level depth.

Custom Expense Groups & Costs

Organize costs the way your business actually thinks about them.

Predefined groups cover the basics (Total COGS, Platform Fees, Fulfillment, Tax). For everything else, build your own. Create an Expense Group (e.g., AD Groups) and add individual Expense Costs inside it (e.g., FB Ads, Google Ads). Calculate each as a fixed amount, a percentage of any reference column, or both. Assign to one platform or many.

  • โœ“
Add Expense Groups and Expense Costs. Expense Cost is the actual line (labor, FB Ads, packaging). Expense Group bundles related costs (AD Groups, Fulfillment, etc.) under one column.
  • โœ“
Three calculation methods. Fixed Amount, Percentage of a Reference Column (e.g., 3% of Total Item Price), or both combined.
  • โœ“
Per-product, per-platform values. Different packaging cost on Shopify vs Faire? Set each one independently and inline-edit any cell.
  • โœ“
Shared Platform Costs. Cross-platform expenses like COGS entered once apply everywhere; per-platform costs vary by channel.
  • โœ“
Bulk-adjust any expense cost. Select rows, choose Set / Increase / Decrease, pick the platforms and the cost, hit Save & Apply. Updates run in the background while you keep working.

Platform Fees

Set your fees once, or let us pull them straight from the marketplace.

For Shopify, and Faire, configure each fee on the Platform Settings page (transaction %, listing fees, payment processing, wholesale take). For Amazon and TikTok Shop, fees can be pulled directly from the platform via API, including FBA, referral, and storage. Every margin in LinkSyncSell uses the right numbers without spreadsheet maintenance.

  • โœ“
Configure in Platform Settings. Shopify, Faire fees set as fixed amounts, percentages, or both.
  • โœ“
Pull from the platform. Amazon and TikTok Shop fees can be fetched directly so you don't have to chase fee schedule changes.
  • โœ“
Updates cascade everywhere. Change a fee, every margin in COGS Manager and Price Manager recalculates.

"Amazon just updated FBA rates. Where am I exposed?"

Amazon and TikTok Shop fees pull directly from the platform. When rates shift, every margin in LinkSyncSell recalculates automatically, no manual lookup, no spreadsheet edit. FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can I have different costs per platform?
Yes. Each expense cost can be assigned to one platform or many, and you can set per-platform values inline in the table. Shared Platform Costs (like COGS) are entered once and apply to every platform automatically.
Where do platform fees come from?
For Shopify, and Faire, you set the fee values in Platform Settings (transaction %, listing fee, payment processing, wholesale take, etc.). For Amazon and TikTok Shop, fees can be pulled directly from the platform via API, so referral, FBA, storage, and TikTok platform fees stay current without manual maintenance.
What's the difference between an Expense Cost and an Expense Group?
Expense Cost is the actual cost line (e.g., FB Ads, Labor, Packaging). Expense Group bundles related costs under one column (e.g., AD Groups bundles FB Ads + Google Ads). You can use predefined groups (Total COGS, Total Platform Fees, Total Fulfillment Costs, Total Tax) or create your own.
What's the difference between Summary and Detailed views?
Summary view groups expenses (Total COGS, Total Platform Fees, Total Fulfillment, etc.) for a clean overview. Detailed view shows every cost line item separately so you can inline-edit each one and audit every dollar.
Can I bulk-update a cost across many products?
Yes. Select the rows you want, click Adjust Expense Cost, choose Set / Increase / Decrease, pick the platforms and the specific cost, set the new value, and hit Save & Apply. The update runs in the background while you keep working.
How does the color-coded margin work?
Out of the box: red for negative margins (needs attention), yellow for 0โ€“10% (moderate), green for above 10% (healthy). You can customize the thresholds to match what counts as healthy for your business, and filter the table by profit so the riskiest listings come up first.
