Status & Inventory
Overview
Common questions about keeping status and inventory accurate across platforms.
Does inventory sync both ways?
Yes. When you update inventory inside LinkSyncSell, it pushes to the selected platforms through their APIs. LinkSyncSell also pulls and syncs inventory automatically once a day so your numbers stay current.
How often does status and inventory sync?
Automatically once a day. You can also pull the latest from a platform on demand using the Sync Product Changes button in the Product Attribute Editor. To avoid hitting platform rate limits, an on-demand sync can be run at most once per hour per platform.
Can I update many listings at once?
Yes. Select the listings you want and apply a bulk update. Your selections stay active as you move between pages. Updates are queued and processed in the background - small batches finish within a few minutes, larger ones take longer - and you can check progress in the Process Log.
Why can't I change my Amazon listing status?
Amazon does not allow listing status to be changed through its API or any third-party tool. You must activate, deactivate, or change Amazon status directly in Amazon Seller Central. LinkSyncSell reflects the status as it appears on Amazon.
Why does a TikTok Shop listing show "Pending"?
TikTok Shop puts new or edited listings through a review before they go Active. The listing shows as Pending in the Status Manager until the platform approves it.
Does Shopify have its own bulk status and inventory tools?
Shopify does not offer bulk status or inventory updates inside its own seller dashboard. The Status Manager provides that bulk capability for Shopify and the other platforms you sell on. (Amazon is the exception for status changes - Amazon listing status can only be changed in Amazon Seller Central - though bulk inventory updates still work for Amazon.)
