Understanding the Different Columns

Updated July 2026 ยท Status Manager

Overview

The Status Manager table has a lot of information packed into it. This guide explains every column in plain language so you always know what you're looking at and what you can do with it.

Products Group Columns

These columns appear on the left side of the table and describe the product itself, regardless of platform.

Selector

The checkbox on the far left of each row. Check it to select that listing for a bulk action. You have three ways to select listings:

  • Check individual boxes to select specific listings
  • Click Select All on Page to select all listings visible on the current page
  • Click Select All to select every listing across all pages of the table

Tip: Your selections stay active even as you navigate between pages. If you select listings on page 1, move to page 2 to add more, your page 1 selections are still there when you apply your bulk action.

Photo

A thumbnail image pulled from the Master Product. This helps you quickly identify the product at a glance.

Master Product Name

The unified product name that LinkSyncSell uses internally. This is the name you assigned (or that was imported) at the Master Product level - it may not match the product title on every individual platform.

Variant SKU

The SKU for this specific product variant. SKUs are what LinkSyncSell uses to link the same product across different platforms, so keeping them unique and consistent is important.

Platform Group Columns (per connected platform)

These columns are repeated for each platform you've connected. Each platform gets its own group.

Page URL

A direct link to the product listing on that marketplace. Click it to copy and open pasting the listing url in a new browser tab and see exactly how it appears to shoppers.

Product Status

The computed status of this listing on that platform. LinkSyncSell reads each platform's native status and translates it into one consistent set of labels. The status is color-coded for quick scanning:

  • Green - Active, Active - Sold Out (the listing is live; "Active - Sold Out" just means it's live but temporarily out of stock)
  • Yellow - Inactive (not currently for sale)
  • Orange - Completed (the listing has ended)
  • Grey - Draft, Expired, or Platform Deactivated
  • Red - Sold Out or Failed (a Failed status means your last update didn't go through)
  • Blue - Pending (awaiting processing)

Most of these come straight from the platform and can't be set by hand here. The only statuses you can change yourself are Active and Inactive - click the status badge and pick one. (On Amazon the status isn't editable here; it appears as a badge linking to Seller Central.) Any change you make is queued and applied to the platform when you click Save.

Inventory

The current stock count for this variant on that platform. This reflects the most recently synced value - Shop Sidekick refreshes inventory and status from each connected platform automatically in the background, so there may be a short delay before a change made directly on the platform appears here.

Actions

Two possible buttons appear here depending on the listing's current state:

  • Edit - opens the listing in the Product Attribute Editor for that specific platform. Use this to update the title, description, price, images, or any other listing detail.
  • Finish Draft - appears only for listings in Draft status. Click this to publish the draft listing and make it live on the platform.

Platform-Specific Columns

Sell When Out of Stock (Shopify only)

This toggle controls Shopify's "continue selling when out of stock" setting for a variant. When it's on, Shopify will keep accepting orders even if inventory reaches zero. When it's off, the listing will show as sold out once inventory hits zero.

This is useful if you're comfortable taking backorders or if your inventory tracking isn't synced in real time.

Variant Status (Faire only)

Some platforms let you hide individual variants without deactivating the entire listing. This column shows whether a specific variant is Visible (shoppers can see and buy it) or Hidden (it's not visible on the platform).

For example, if you sell a T-shirt in five sizes but your size XS is no longer available, you can hide just that variant without unpublishing the whole listing.

Troubleshooting

A column I expect to see isn't there.

Click the column management button (sometimes labeled "Columns" or shown as a settings icon near the table header). Make sure the column is checked as visible. For platform-specific columns like Sell When OOS or Variant Status, those only appear for the relevant platforms.

The status shown doesn't match what I see on the platform.

LinkSyncSell refreshes inventory and status from each connected platform automatically once a day (around 4 AM in your store's local time; on Shopify, inventory also updates in near real time via webhooks). So a recent change on the platform may not appear here until the next sync. If you need the latest data sooner, you can run a manual sync from the Product Attribute Editor or from your platform's integration card - this can be done once per hour. If the values still don't match after a sync, check the Process Log for sync errors.
