Search, Filters, Sorting & Column Management (PAE)

Updated July 2026 ยท Product Attribute Editor

Overview

Find any product quickly in the Product Attribute Editor. Each platform tab has its own search, filter, and sorting options.

Searching

Use the search bar at the top of each platform's product table to find products. Enter a keyword and the table will filter to matching results. The search looks across:

  • Product name
  • Product description
  • Platform grouping ID (the identifier used to group variants together on the platform - sometimes the same as SKU)
  • Master product name (the shared name used to link the same product across platforms)
  • Variant names and their cross-platform grouping IDs

Filtering

Each platform has its own set of filters. Common filters include:

  • Status - show only Active, Inactive, Draft, or other status values
  • Category - filter by product category
  • Vendor - filter by vendor (Shopify-specific)
  • Product Type - filter by product type
  • Creation Date - find products created within a specific date range
  • Last Modified Date - find products based on the last modification date recorded in LinkSyncSell
โš ๏ธ
Note: The Last Modified Date filter reflects when the product was last updated within LinkSyncSell, not on the platform itself. If you recently edited a listing directly on a platform, that change may not yet be reflected here - run a Sync Product Changes first to pull in the latest data, then use this filter

Sorting

Only columns that display a sort icon (โ†‘โ†“) in the header can be sorted. Click a sortable column header to sort by that column; click it again to reverse the order. Clicking a column header that has no sort icon will not change the sort order.

Tips & Notes

๐Ÿ’ก
Tip: Combine filters and search for the fastest results. For example, filter by Status: Draft, then search by product name to find a specific draft listing.
๐Ÿ“
Note: Filter selections don't carry over between platform tabs. Each tab maintains its own filter state.

Troubleshooting

Filters aren't returning the results you expected.

Clear all active filters and try again. It's easy to accidentally leave a filter applied from a previous session.

A filter option isn't available.

Some filters are platform-specific. If you're looking for a filter that doesn't appear, it may only be available on a different platform's tab.

Last Modified Date filter isn't catching recently edited products.

This filter is based on data stored in LinkSyncSell, not directly from the platform. Use Sync Product Changes to update LSS with the latest platform data, then try the filter again.
