Pricing Imports & Exports

Updated July 2026 ยท Price Manager

Overview

Export your complete pricing data to a spreadsheet, make your edits outside of LSS, and import the updated file back to apply all the changes at once. This is the fastest way to handle large-scale pricing updates.

Exporting Pricing Data

  1. Go to Pricing > Price Manager
  2. Optionally select specific products to export - or skip selection to export everything

Notice: Your selection is kept as you move between pages - products you select on one page stay selected when you switch to another. Choosing Select All exports every product that matches your current filters across all pages, not just the page you're viewing. If you've applied filters to the table, the export includes only the filtered products.

  1. Click the Export button
  2. The export is queued for processing
  3. Go to Help & Records > Export Center to download the file when it's ready

The exported file is an Excel workbook with three tabs:

  • Instructions - how to fill in and re-import the file
  • Data Definitions - what each column means and the values it accepts
  • Template - your products and their price fields. This is the only tab you edit.

When importing, keep all three tabs and edit only the Template tab. Don't rename or reorder columns, and save the file as .xlsx.

Note: Exported files expire after 7 days. Download your file promptly after the export completes.

Importing Bulk Price Updates

  1. Start with the exported template as your base (this ensures the correct formatting and column structure)
  2. Update the prices in your spreadsheet
  3. Save the file in Excel format (.xlsx)
  4. Go to Pricing > Price Manager
  5. Click the Import button
  6. Upload your file
  7. Confirm the agreement that you want to apply and publish the price updates to the selected platforms
  8. LinkSyncSell processes the file and applies the price changes
๐Ÿ’ก
Tip: Always start from the exported template rather than building your own spreadsheet from scratch, and keep it in Excel (.xlsx) format. The template is a multi-sheet workbook, so saving it as CSV breaks the structure the import relies on and will cause the import to fail.

Checking Import Results

Go to Help & Records > Import History to see:

  • Import status (Processing, Successful, or Failed)
  • Details of what was updated
  • Links to the Process Log for any errors
๐Ÿ“
Note: All price changes applied through an import are logged in the Process Log and Audit Trail.

Tips & Notes

๐Ÿ’ก
Tip: Before running a large import, test it with a small batch of products first. This lets you confirm everything is formatted correctly before applying changes to your full catalog.

Troubleshooting

Import fails immediately.

Check that you're uploading an Excel file (.xlsx). CSV files and self-built spreadsheets aren't supported - start from the exported template and don't remove or rename any required columns or sheets.

Prices aren't updating after a successful import.

A successful import means the file was processed and the price changes were queued - it doesn't mean they're live on the platform yet. Price updates are pushed to each platform in the background and can take some time to appear there. Give it a few minutes, then check the Price Manager again. If prices still aren't reflected, check the Import History page for what was processed, then the Process Log for any platform-level errors that may have prevented the changes from being pushed.
